People act like environmental pollution is always something happening “somewhere else” but we’re all breathing and eating and drinking it and it should really put some shit into perspective that just having a hobby around seashells turned this woman’s household dust into a death trap.
Friendly reminder that environmental issues affect humans too and that no amount of humanist and anthropocentric ideals that tell humans they’re special can separate them from it

Hey in case tumblr becomes more of a dumpster fire than it already is you can follow me on Instagram (@adventurebanshee), mastadon (also @adventurebanshee) and Twitter (@ashandbriar) and tbh you really should just follow my Instagram because unlike here where I show up once every two weeks I actually post regular content on there, so, you know.
Also while I’m logged on for once, Tumblr should really focus on getting rid of all the Nazis if they’re truly interested in actually cleaning up this site because White Supremacy is a pretty large issue that needs to be crushed like the small yet deadly bug that it is, but you know, nipples are just such a plague upon society I guess.

Just so y'all know I’ve got this scheduled to post intermittently so that people know there are alternatives to Tumblr in light of the whole content ban thing. I know I don’t post adult content regularly or really at all but you know, I consume it as an adult like literally 90% of the adults on this site so this move by staff is, to me, a real lazy move (yeah yeah I’m not special for that, just thought I’d bring it up).
It’s also worth noting that I’ve basically switched to Instagram and Twitter, and am testing out Mastadon, and on all three of those platforms are ones where I focus on content I’ve actually made versus reblogging other people’s content (I still retweet/boost content I like but eh, whatever), so like, for nature oriented content that’s different, you can go there friends.
